Emergency crews and Local 12 are on the scene of a midair collision between a small plane and a helicopter.

It happened shortly after 3:00 pm. There is one crash site at Reed Hartman Highway and East Kemper Road, near the Sharonville-Blue Ash boundary. The other is a few blocks away at Squirehill Court and Sovereign Drive.

At least two people are dead.

East Kemper Road is closed from Reed Hartman to US 42.

At least two people are dead.

Sharonville police are asking anyone who may have witnessed the crash to call them at 563-1147.

More than one witness on the news described the plane as "nosediving" very fast into the ground.

One of the planes involved was N6614D, and C172N. It was based out of KISZ and was owned by Flying Neutrons, a local flying club. Even though the news has not reported it, the plane had a senior instructor and student on board.

It was a collision between a Bonanza V35 and a Cessna 172N. There were 3 fatal injuries from the airplanes, none on the ground. The collision occured near Cincinnati Blue Ash Airport. I have no other details as of now.
