What´s The Difference Between A321-100 And -200?

Hi everybody,

unlike the A310-200/300 or A320-100/200, I gather there´s no visible difference between the A321-100 and -200.

a) Is this correct?
b) What are the differences, then?

There is no visible difference between the two. The -200 is capable of higher takeoff weights, I believe 93 tons vs. 83 tons on the -100, and most of that is fuel. The -200 has a range (according to Airbus) a little over 1000 km more than the -100.

In Boeing terms a 321-200 is a 100ER - more fuel greater range.
