and you guys thought the A380 was taking things too far!

i was looking for articles on the future of air travel and found some info on the cosmoplane apparently being developed by Russia the specifications of this plane are astounding!

"Russia believes in 10 years they will have a Cosmoplane— 250 feet long, able to carry up to 1,200 people, and fly at 18,000 miles an hour and altitudes of 650,000 feet. Russian aerospace experts say the trip from Moscow to New York would take 50 minutes, to Tokyo 53 minutes and to Sydney, 66 minutes. The projected cost of the ticket? $16,783 U.S. dollars. Nyet for me."
