Well, now that Monarch were pushed off the route, and Thomsonfly have dropped the route in favour of First Choice operating from BRS, who's gonna be taking over CWL-SFB? I have hints towards XLA doing a seasonal programme throughout the summer, however it could also be MYT (or TCX as they'll be by then).
Anyone go any light to shed on this??

You mean like they already do?
Of course, may be no one will take it over... if Thomson thought they would have had the demand, they would have retianed the route, likewise, My Travel would have continued with their own whole plane charters.... not so long ago since they used 747s to Orlando from CWL.

XLA are only doing 4/5 flights this summer.
MYT/TCX chartered the MON a/c and filled it just about right through from May-Oct.
MYT normally start the season on their own a/c. This year its been split with BHX and MAN. From next week their allocation is on the TOM a/c.
Last year MON was practically full every flight, XLA's 743 was too, and TOM was running about 80% (first year of operation!)
Your talking over 1000 pax per week in Jul/Aug time.
The demand is there, its been running for years.
If MYT dont take it over by themselves, then GSM should get in on it!
Well Monarch had the route monopoly, and then XL and Thomsonfly came into the equasion so they pulled it!

They do 5 flights a season, it's hardly what I'd call a decent operation!

Thomson pulled the route in favor of First Choice operating it at BRS, all the to do with the merger, I know by law they shouldn't be doing it, but, they are!
