I have a brochure back from 1989 when ROyal CLass was still in existance. It looks pretty much like the First Classes of the 80's Seats with 60 inches of pitch, elegant meal complete with caviar and chilled vodka for hors d'oeuvres. The seats were blue with little yellow horizontal pin-stripes across the middle. It was an attractive cabin. It is interesting that in my brochure they advertise testing of PTV's on select routs in the future. Overall it looed nice. I think it was only on their 747's but I am not absolutly sure. Hope this helps.
