Probably pick up 2nd hand MD80's (AA or
DL in a few years) or 734's (US)
I dont think their business model supports brand new aircraft

Wasn't there talk at one time Champion was going to pick up some of NWA's A-320's?
From reading other posts, it sounds like some of NWA's A-320's are being WFS and scrapped with no chance at a second life.
Direct KNOBS, maintain 2700' until established on the localizer, cleared ILS runway 26 left approach.

Hard to say, but since
NW has a part in Champion I would say NW will help with that decision.

I'm guessing the A320.
NW could instead of scrapping some of their A320's, give them to Champion Air. I will definately miss passenger 727s at MSP.
It ain't no normal MD80 its a Super 80!

Actually a relaible source from the sharp end of their 727's has previously told me that this order may swing towards new build A-319's but again this is rumor and we all know how the rumor mills work. For petes sake there has been a rumor floating around my company that CRJ-900's were in our fleet future for about two years now. I will beleive it when I see it.
