Legitimate gripe or just a whining traveller who did not read the rules.  Confused

A bit of both , I suspect.
He should have read the terms and conditions of carriage (I hold my hand up here - I don't) , but having said that I do think that all the extra charges for baggage, seat allocation etc,etc should be very clearly stated at some point BEFORE one gets to confirm the booking.

The trouble is LCC carriers aren't necessarily the cheapest in the long run, by the time you've added out of town airport transport expenses, Baggage charges, seat allocation, wheelchair fees .Credit card Fees etc etc.

Most LCC's would prefer you not to have any baggage, be 100 per cent fit and not need anything, or they''ll charge!

Long live the National Carriers
