Could be the third one !!
Easybourse has an article saying J Leahy is negotiaitng with EK for another A380 order , without disclosing the number of units he hopes to sell.
He also said the name of the first A380 VIP buyer will be revealed at the Paris Air Show + A350 orders.

While I'd like to see another order, I doubt this a bit. Two orders within such a short timeframe? If Clark had wanted even more, he could have ordered more than four a few days ago.

EK would be wise to look at what happened to Jetblue today and realize that they are headed for the exact same place adding this much capacity without the organic growth to support it.
I'd be very surprised not to! Put it this way, if Airbus can't start announcing significant and "new" orders for the A350 by Le Bourget then they are really in trouble. They've clawed back some credibility through the latest make-over of the A350 but it's time now to start lining up a list of customers that can at least start to compare with the 787's impressive backlog.
Quoting BoeingFever777 (Reply 9): EK's order history as of lately does not dictate just (4) new orders.

Prior to the most recent order for 4 they had 43 on order. You've mentioned orders for 15 and 21. That's 36. 43-36 = 7. So when was the order for 7? And 7 is a lot closer to 4 than it is to 15 or 21.
Airbus? At the Paris Air Show? No major new orders? You will be surprised!
Quoting BoeingFever777 (Reply 7): the (4) they got I still believe were compensation for the delays.
EK has repeatedly stated that the order had absolutely nothing to do with A380 compensation.

EK has placed several small incremental orders for A380s. It was also stated when the order was announced that they took these four because the production slots became available. In the thread that discussed this incremental order, it was also pointed out that EK were still in negotiations with Airbus for even more A380s.

Several very respected members have recently indicated that Emirates would be ordering additional A380's. The recent add on order for 4 frames was to secure delivery slots that had become open, most likely due to UPS and FedEx cancelations.
From what we have seen previously, those particular members have very good track record of being correct and usually know what they are talking about. If Emirates does place additional orders for the A380 it will most likely be at Le Bourget or at the Dubai Air Show.

It will be very interesting to see what happens.

Sorry but do you want imply EK lies to make Airbus look better? That makes a lot of sense.
About the article IMHO that refers to the already announced order of 4 A380, some media is late. Dont believe we will see more orders from EK until EIS.

EK's insatiable appetite for widebody is simply amazing, and boggles the mind. I hope their growth strategy succeeds; otherwise desert parking would be very crowded.

but the likely ones are QR (80) and SU (22), followed by the other outstanding orders
Yeah I guess QR, SU, and SQ could all firm up finally. Who would the other outstanding orders be that have not firmed up?
By outstanding, Im refering to orders or commitments for the old version. I would not be surprised to see a few of these signed up as XWBs at the airshow.
Quoting BoeingFever777 (Reply 7): EK has yet to see one A380 delivered and the (4) they got I still believe were compensation for the delays.
EK has categorically stated that the latest order (4) has nowt to do with compensation. I believe the saw some empty slots and acted accordingly.
