Ooooh come on, these pictues are not serious... A complete library with a leader? And even a statue (this 747-8 must be for North Korea or Cuba as I haven't seen something since the fall of Baghdad)?

Looks like something Kim Jong-il would commission for himself.

An order itself for a 747-8 VIP is an example of self aggrandizement, implicit poor taste and a lack of creativity. It's no surprise the interiors reflect this. It's a monument and not a transportation tool exactly.

While the renderings are pretty tasteless it does give us some decent ideas on how the space can be utilized w/ the loft suites.

At least there aren't any gold-plated bidets, that we can see.

And even a statue

I doubt that's meant as a monument to whoever the owner is. More likely a mannequin for scale reference.

That interior looks really odd and I don't know who ordered the 4 747-8 VIP's but do you think they will replace the current Air Force one with this..? Any guesses..?

If I had enough money to buy my own 747, I would have a round bed in it, with tiger skin linens. The bed would turn. It would look like this....

I would paint the exterior like this....

Boeing's own BBJ demonstrator has a very classy interior. Much better than this ugliness.

 checkmark

You wouldn't put a statue at the top of stairs blocking the door or in the middle of a doorway.

If someone actually designed their 748 to have an interior like that, they would regret it in the long run. 'Cause that's just UGLY! Hehe...

And that's coming from someone who DOES like the new DL livery  Smile

Unfortunately "The Great Leader" is afraid of flying so getting the 747-8i VIP is out of the question for him.

Aloha!
