DL MD-90 Blows Tire At SNA

That is about it. It has closed 19R I am not sure if it is open again, when I left it had not!

A Canada 3000 A330 blew a tire when landing in Calgary on a flight that I was on..........took them 45 minutes to replace it, It was a rough landing but the aircraft taxied to the gate so I suppose it wasent as serious as that.

Well the DL blew 3 out of the 4 mains, it closed the runway for about 3 hours!

Speaking of blown tires, an Alaska MD-80 blew a tire at BUR in July of '98 and it took them a while to reopen RNWY8/26.

Delta I am not sure. I would guess many thing played a part in what happend. But thankfully no one was hurt!
