Another lie! Was actually on departure from 26, one of our instructors was sat at 'C' waiting to depart and apparently as the Hunter rotated, there was a lot of smoke from the right wheel and the pilot throttled back, the plane veered right and a fuel tank came loose and ended up on the edge of the runway. The pilot deployed the chute in an attempt to slow down but couldn't stop the aircraft leaving the runway.
