What's the final approach control freq (and the previous freq, if anyone knows that) for aircraft landing on EWR runway 11? Been a lot of CO jets letely (including a 757-- Passur says it was from CDG. Landed about 16:56 EDT on 21 May).

Do they ever land runway 11 while others are landing 22? Or is it just 11 together with 4?

They use the same frequencies as they would if they were on 22/4

If they use the same frequency then Final Vector is 125.5. I have a feeling under "usual" staffing it could be North Arrival which uses 120.15 or maybe a satellite like MUGZY which was 127.6 - Granted maybe it was changed to the freq that OPNL posted. There is a fella that works at EWR ATCT on the forum, he would know.

It seems it's 132.8. Taking OPNLguy's suggested 128.55 as the initial freq for arrivals from the south and west, it turns out that's where the CO Express ERJ's put in their request for runway 11. If they get it, they're handed off to 132.8 after descending to 5000.

When I flew out of ewr the other night, I saw 2 ERJ's land and a FX cessna. ALso two ERJ's take off. I think it would be a good runway for landings and take off for all regional jets and smaller to land and take off on.

Well usually METRO is pretty much the only satellite open in the EWR Area during certain times. METRO also handles TEB guys most of the time.
