I am just wondering on how the installation of the new "shell" business seats are comming along? I will be flying YVR-NRT in the fall and back from NRT-SFO. I know the new seats are supposed to be on the NRT-SFO leg but I am wondering if the YVR-NRT leg will have the new business seats. There is no mention of that route on their website, but I do not know how current it is. Any help would be appreciated.
YVR-NRT flight JL17/18 and JL11/12 (onward to MEX) are both operated by B744 with old-style 'Executive Class' seats.
Aircraft operating this route usually are JA8917/8920/8921 and JA8087/8088/8089/8901.
NRT-SFO are operated by 744's having the shell-flat Executive Class. There is a wide range of aircraft regs flying on this route.
Of course, it might all change after October 29, when the winterschedule will start. Due to internal operational changes there might be aircraft changes again on several routes from this winter.
