Starting June 7th DL will be adding an ATL-PTY flight which will operate 3X week. The new flight will fly Tuesday, Thursday Saturday on a 738, this increases DL offering to PTY to 10X week.
Delta currently flies daily to PTY with a 757.
Interesting they did this, I would have expected flights to LAX instead of additional ATL flights.

I'm not that surprised for the extra ATL-PTY-ATL flights. The departure time out of PTY would be good for faster connections to Europe @ ATL.
I would have expected some kind of red eyes to/fr ATL so to use the DL aircraft spending the night in PTY or eventual LAX-PTY-LAX flights before those extra daytime ATL-PTY-ATL flights..
B.T.W. looks like Eastern ATL-PTY-ATL schedule when they try PTY out of ATL 1980, those times were no good for PTY at that time.
