This may belong in the Trip Reports forum, but hey!

Have any of you ever flown on Monarch Airlines? If so,

  • If so what route?
  • What aircraft?
  • What where they like?

I am asking, because I am flying London Gatwick - Paphos at Easter. Probably a 757 :-(

    Fly Monarch

    Hey Ben

How is the shotting going? Any nice shots lately??

I have flown Monarch twice, both flight to Stockholm from Aberdeen and both with 757 aircraft.

Flights were great especially the last one:

    Hi Ben

Won't be back to LHR or LGW until next year. Just one visit per year.

    Last time was August 18th-21st.

I still have tons of shots to develop. I like to keep them exclusive so you won't find a lot more posted here.

You will need to look at my own site.

When I plan my next trip, I will give you a shout and maybe meet at runway 27R for landings

Manchester to Goa the last two years on A300-600R. Now an older aircraft and showing it's age. Very cramped being 3x3x3 at the front and 2x3x2 towards the rear - row 30 is the exit row. At least the headphones were free and not £5 per time like some charter flights!

I thought the service was great, I am flying them again next summer, EDI-Las Palmas 757.

When you hear the noise of the Tartan Army Boys, we'll be coming down the road!
