Wow it's s really sad that this is happening. I know as humans we have to look out for number one first but to see an exodus on this scale is sad. Should this mass migration go through we could very well be seeing the begining of the end for GF, or at least the GF we knew.
If this does indeed happen I doubt the governemnt of Bahrain, despite it's super deep pockets will take significant action. That would leave the regions giants to come snack on the remains. Would it not be a full circle moment if the Qatar gov who left GF were to rturn around and acquire it through QR.

I don't think it would need any monies to change hands as QR, EK or EY would just snap up the passengers and cargo as there would be no other option for Bahrain based people if GF goes belly up. It's all good PR stating that they are buying new aircraft but without the crews it's a pointless exercise.
