In SAS Norway's, employee magazine there are some nice pictures of the first 737 with winglets bound for SAS. This summer SAS Norway will get two brand new 737 with winglets. The article says the photo's are from Boeing. Could someone provide this thread with some pictures? The SAS logo will appear like on the tail and will have the same blue color like the tail has as well.

There was some more news that caught my attention. The new 73G's for SAS will have 141 passenger's. The current fleet of 73G has between 131 and 134 passenger. How do SAS manage to put more passenger in their new 73G? Do they decrease the seat pitch throughout the plane or just in the back/ in front? The new 73G airplane will have exactly the same number of passengers as SAS Denmark's A319's. Hopefully this could provide some hard facts as to what is the difference in CASM between the 73G and the A319.

The article says that the new SAS 737-standard is based on the Boeing standard. What does that mean? Less option's that SAS usually requires when building new planes?

I hope that SAS sees the benefit of the new Winglets, and apply those for most of the 737-NG family.

Does anybody know if SAS will be getting more 737 planes from Boeing, or are these the final two for now? Does SAS still hold some options for new airplanes from Boeing?
