Meridiana will start weekly services from CAG to JFK around spring 2008, after merger with Eurofly is completed.

If the merger is actually going to take place, then what? A330s for this flight and a new livery? new airline?

Many questions to be answered.

Cheers.

Well, according to what I read in the italian forum:

Quote:
Si tratta del primo volo lungo raggio della compagnia aerea dell'Aga Khan dopo l'integrazione di Eurofly in Meridiana

Says that: "the integration of Eurofly into Meridiana" which states that Meridiana is taking over Eurofly...

This is pretty interesting; I'd like to see how this is going to be managed. Meridiana seems to be doing pretty good on the short-flights networks and on the other hand, Eurofly is the expert on long-haul flights in the couple.

I'd be rather interested in seeing a new airline pop up and start a new competition to AZ to see if they wake up from their agony.

Cheers
