Hi, was just looking at some videos, and noticed how relaxed the commentart was on this crash video, is it live commentary, or are they commenting on the video, after it took place?
It appears the plane was attempting to take off, anyone shed any light on the incident?

I'm not sure. Iirc there was a delegation with a high-ranking politician on board. And, as astonishing as it may seem, apparently nobody died in this crash.
Quoting RJAF (Reply 4): This is truly an amazing video! One of the best crash videos I've seen. How long has this video been posted on the net?
An extended version of this video has been on the net for numerous months.

That is the the crash discussed in the thread, that ChicagoFlyer refers to. Russian Navy TU-134 crashed during takeoff from Gvardeyskoe Airbase in Crimea, Ukraine. Carrying Chief Commander of Russian Navy Adm. Masorin and his staff on board. Cause - multiple birdstrikes in the left engine. The video commentator (one of the pilots) mentions the flock of gulls. No casualties, only a few burns and minor injuries.
