Remember when they were called stewardesses? I even heard a story of some older fellow asking for a drink from an "air waitress." Of course now they want to be called flight attendants...which is fine. Although the best one I've heard is "flight cabin specialists"
Just to share another story with you...Indoc at this airline for FA's was four weeks long. The pilots were in class for six weeks. One of the Flight Attendants was heard saying, "I should have stayed the extra two weeks and been a pilot."
Flight cabin specialist....maybe if they stay that extra two weeks...

This from a Virgin FA 3 weeks ago. BA call VS FA's "Strawberry Tarts" (for those who do not know, the VS uniform is bright red). In return, VS call BA FA's "The Rottweilers" for their attitude!
