I watched the latest gambling flick, Ocean 13 last night and was wondering why Southwest Airlines have significant apperances in it? Southwest Airlines' aircrafts can be spotted in the opening and ending of the movie at Las Vegas Airport. Did Southwest sponsors the movie in any ways? Also, is there any photographs which involved Southwest Airlines' aircrafts during the shooting of the film? Or it is just a coincident? If Southwest sponsors the films in any ways, is there any Southwest executives who made a cameo apperance in the film who I am not aware of?
Last year, Virgin Atlantic became the official airline for the 007 James Bond flick, Casino Royale. VS's aircrafts predominantly were featured in the movie and even the CEO, Sir Charles Bronson had a cameo appearance (he was going through security screening in MIA) in the film. There was also a special link of the movie in VS's website back then. The shooting was done in Prague.
