I'm missing the remaining A319/320 from Avianca.
They announced orders for 9 A319 / 24 320 / 5 A330
Could they be leased planes instead of direct orders?

A better month for Airbus, especially the higher proportion of widebodies. No rest for Leahy, though, Boeing are still out-selling Airbus by a factor of 2:1 (92 orders in May, 429 net so far this year):-

Maybe Airbus will announce more progress at the Paris Show?

Nice to note that Airbus has sold mostly widebodies this month  goodvibes

With Paris Airshow just around the corner, both Boeing and Airbus could be reveling some surprising orders.

That's a very good May for Airbus, considering it's right before the airshow. Well done.

Difficult to look at those 27 x A330's and make any connection to A380 "giveaways" too....  Smile

There's a few orders I'm surprised not to see in the may update. AAT said it would buy 8 A330F's but have apparently 'only' firmed up 6. British Airways orders for 8 more A320s and the remaining A32S for Avianca I also expected to be firmed up already. Last months bigger commitments, Air One and Qatar will probably be 'saved' to be announced in Paris...

Look for a big order from AA for 737/777/787.

I have no doubt that Airbus will have a large A-350 order or two to announce as well, plus a plethora of A 319/320 as well.

The rest of Avianca's order (9 A319, 18 A320) was booked
as an UFO on December 29, 2006.

It would be great to see some new 777's entering AA's fleet. Some shiny 772LR or 773ER's  goodvibes

It would also be great so see more orders this summer for the A330, A350, 747-8I and the odd small order for the A380.

CV747F you will find that Blsbls99 has provided you with the correct answer. Having had time to go through the spreadsheet there are some interesting changes and conversions which should be noted too. Please correct if I've left any out.

ILFC converted 1 x A320 to an A319

MEA converted 4 x A319 to 4 x A320

Hamburg Int'l converted 4 x A319 to 4 x A320

China Eastern converted 10 x A319 to 10 x A320

NIKI converted 1 x A320 to 1 x A319

Since GATX sold their leasing business Macquarie Aircraft Leasing are now registered as having 37 A32X series on backlog instead of GATX.

Might have been last month, but AerCap converted 1 x A319 to an A320.

I thought it was well established on a.net that we simply give away all our aircraft. It's so much easier doing the financials that way....
