I saw the Iberia A340 take off today from MCO while I was working. I assumed there were storms when I saw it. There were a few AA diversions to MCO also that were bound for MIA.

Did anyone see the C-5 come in to MCO tonight? I think that is what it was. There was a huge plane with screaming engines that flew over my apartment about 9pm. I thought it had to either be a C-5 or an AN-124, but AN-124s with their carriers usually show up on flightaware, which makes me think it was a U.S. Military C-5

Any idea why it is here? Something to do with the Shuttle?

I just got home and was in my apartment when I heard a totally different sound than I am used to. I ran to my window and saw something huge go over that could only be a C-5 or AN-124, knew it wasn't a 747 by lights and sound.

I take it you also live in the flight path of 18R too.

The C-5 is still parked over on the west ramp near the Continental Hangar as of this evening.

C-5 is sitting there where it is dwarfing that sad Planet Airways 727, a former CO bird. I sure wish someone would buy that poor plane and do something with it...missing both side engines for sure, and I think they raided the one on top as well.  Sad

Looks like more T-storms in Miami.

There is a Martinair MD-11 right now at MCO.
