To flesh out my earlier post, according to JP Airlines Fleet, the two Tu-204s are:
October 2007 delivery, one Tu-204-300 with 160 all-Y class seating.
November 2007 delivery, one Tu-204 with 210 all-Y class seating, ex RA-64013.
That's as much as I know.
IF these orders are real, I wonder whether they will replace Tu-154s or Il-62s. Judging by the number of idle planes I see every time I pass through FNJ, I doubt these Tu-204s are for fleet expansion!

Quoting Dalavia (Thread starter): It lists two Tu-204s on order for Air Koryo to be delivered this year, one in October, one in November.
If you compare the range of a Tu-204 it could be well possible that those planes would replace IL62s. The only scheduled destination where Tu204 would be needed would be BKK. No doubt I wouldn't be surprised to see them mainly at PEK and on charter flights for the government (to places where they are still allowed to operate to).

I think most of the planes standing around at FNJ are still operated, not on a regular basis of course but quite often as charter for the government, tourists etc.

I think they have two Tu-204-300 on order. The first one should arrive this year and the other one in January or February 2008. There is an article in Airliners World June issue but I don t have it with me now. I will check. I read somewhere a few month ago they wanted to open direct link with Tehran. Tu-204-100 is not abble to make that flight non stop but the Tu-204-300 should be abble to do that. Strange route as Tehran-Damas-Caracas but when I visited Noth Korea in September 2005, half of the hotel s guests where Iranian????????? So.... why not......
RAFVC10, where did you get he info about MA-60? Thanks.

RA-64013 is an ex Vnukovo aircraft stored for a long time. I'm not sure he still in flight condition. The Air Koryo Tu-204 (100 or 300 but I think it will be 300) will be delivred new.

Interesting info, given the geopolitical situation right now! Can't help wondering what these Iranians were doing in Pyongyang. Perhaps nuclear scientists on "educational" trips to Yongbon?
i think JS definitely need to update their fleet; it's a hell of a long time since they got their last new aircraft.

I seem to remember hearing that along with Belavia getting Tu-204-300 to replace Tu-154Ms.
