Will I Get The New Biz Cabin On This AA Flight?

I will be flying from ORD to LHR on Friday on AA. It is my understanding that AA's 777s are currently in the process of having their cabins upgraded to the new business class.

My question is simple: On AA86 on Friday June 15th, will I get the new cabin.

Call them and ask. Don't be shy, they are used to these calls coming in all the time. Besides, if you are paying them the money to fly Business, then you are more than entitled to know before you fly.

Reservations agents do not normally have the capability to determine which aircraft will be flying a certain flight. Not only that, but they are not allowed to give out specific routing information on an airplane.

It's unlikely you'll be successful in obtaining that information from reservations.

What I can say is that that 777s ahve not yet had the Next Generation Business Class product installed. They're currently being installed on the 763s and the 777s will begin a little later this year.

if it was a 767 I could tell you, but I'm not sure about the 777s.
