Hi all,
I just had a friend on the phone who had the news channel N24 running in the background, they reported about an incident on a Germanwings flight from Hamburg to London, apparently burst one or some tires during the take-off roll.
Does anyone know more? I can't find anything on the website of N24 yet.

Der Airbus 319 der Fluggesellschaft Germanwings war nach Angaben eines Sprechers der Airline mit 118 Passagieren und fünf Besatzungsmitgliedern auf dem Weg von Hamburg nach London-Gatwick. Kurz nach dem Start habe es in der Maschine eine Fehlermeldung gegeben, sagte der Sprecher. Details dazu konnte er nicht nennen. Die Crew habe sich sofort entschieden, aus Sicherheitsgründen nach Fuhlsbüttel zurückzukehren.
Erste Berichte der Feuerwehr, wonach beim Start ein Reifen der Maschine geplatzt war, konnte der Germanwings-Sprecher nicht bestätigen. Das Flugzeug sei auch über den Flughafen geflogen, um die Unterseite der Maschine überprüfen zu lassen. Danach habe der Airbus selbstständig landen und an eine Halteposition rollen können.
Nach Feuerwehrangaben war um 18.51 Uhr ein Notruf eingegangen. Das Flugzeug kreiste danach noch etwa eine Stunde über dem Flughafen. Die Feuerwehr war mit etwa 60 Mann im Einsatz.

A first report of a blown tire by the fire department could not be confirmed by the spokesman of Germanwings. The airplane made a low-pass over the airport in order to check the belly of the plane. After that the Airbus landed and taxied to a stop at the apron.
There was an emergency call at 18.51 o'clock with the airplane in a hold for 60 minutes over the airport. About 60 fire fighters arrived at the scene.
