Air Transat have got a 3rd weekly slot at LHR for its summer only service, next year (operated twice weekly this summer). Other highlights of their Summer 2008 UK-Canada schedule are new BFS-YYZ flights twice a week and extra LGW-Vancouver flights, although I dont know if TS, MYT or TCX operate these

Surprised Air Transat dont do LHR-YYZ year round, considering the value of LHR slots - there is some winter leisure demand to YYZ, as shown by them doing LGW-YYZ five times a week

Info from this press release by Canadian Affair, owned by Air Transat''s holding company Transat Holdings - http://www.canadianaffair.com/en/new...ss_releases/pr_may_07_summer08.asp

A bit off-topic but does anyone know if Air Transat is planning to increase VIE to 6 flights a week?

Yes they are !

TS 544/545 and TS 644/645 are both operated by A310 aircraft type. The 3rd flight next year will most likely be an A310 as well.

The A330's are kept for other routes such as YUL-CDG, YUL-ATH, YYZ-LGW and most west coast to Europe routes.

They most certainly do operate at the present time into LHR. I was at Heathrow on June 9th and I saw one of TS's A310's taking off. So strange to see them there...

AC330
