PHOTO SCREENER

Looks like a blimp of some sort?

Salt Lake Air Traffic Control said they didn’t pick up the object on radar and had no knowledge of the craft.

ATC denying an obvious object that simply had to appear on their screens.....sounds like an NSA spy bird or something. The rear area has what looks like a pretty highly developed camera.

That's one heck of a zoom on that camcorder.  Wink

Me thinks it is an Adobe Premier or Final Cut Pro project.

1. Any (accurate) eyewitness accounts as to what altitude it was at? I really can't tell the size from the photos.

2. Noticable wires hanging from the rear of the blimp to the "camera-tube"

3. I'm sure Coast to Coast will be up-in-arms about this event tonight...

Odd, not seen a blimp like that before.

Also, wonder what it was doing there with no communication with the ground

Sure is behaving like a blimp, well, until about the middle when it does what I would consider abrupt maneuvers for a blimp. I don't see any obvious engine pods either.

Doesn't come across as being alien - but very interesting nonetheless.

Thanks for sharing.

Looks a bit like this http://home.earthlink.net/~jfackler/pics.htm although better built.

Motion definitely looks scale-shortened to me, so I'd say it's R/C.

Now a "man" has claimed ownership of the blimp, saying he lost control of it and it crashed just east of Salt Lake City. He mentioned it was around 100 feet long. No name was given and no precise location of the crash was mentioned.

My question is how ATC did not see a 100 foot long (visible and radio) reflective object on their radar?

Haven't you heard of "flying low under the radar?"

It was one of these. Test platform for an airborne wind power generation blimp.

Why the hell did they ask 11-12 year olds about it... "I think it was a bomb from Iraq"... cmon.

Because it wasn't 100 feet long. Try more like 20.

The silver, zeppelin-type object was seen by dozens of witnesses at approximately 8:00 a.m. Witnesses reported that the object appeared to be approximately 100 feet long, but authorities say in actuality it was less than 20 feet in size.

If that is true, then the originally linked article I saw 1 hour ago was total BS. It stated the owner said it was 100 ft. long (not 20 ft. as it says now). Doesn't anyone find it odd that the text in the original poster's link has been changed wholesale 3 times in the last two hours?

Yep....this is typical intelligence stuff. Someone messed up and the cleaners take over from there.

At least the pictures are still available. They don't care though because they know for a fact that 3 weeks from now you will forget any of this happened.  Yeah sure

Okay....all you spooks can commence your chemtrail crapola now.  Wink
