With the revised US-China bilateral, there is tremendous pressure on US Airways regarding their bid for the PHL-PVG route. As far as I know, their plan to acquire 2 A345s from AC hit a snag. With no US Airways Asia service and no planes, can we essentially announce Delta as the winner of this second route in 2007? Any US employees have an update on the aircraft acquisition for the China flights?
