I always wonder why the Sultan's A340 is in Royal Brunei colours while the B744 is in the gray colour scheme? I also wonder how its decided which aircraft he is going to fly on. I would love to see the interior of the B744. I have seen it many times at
LHR parked near the BA maintenance base.

If you would love, i would pay $$$ to see the interior, we share the same interest
He always use the 747 for his offical visits, even the non-offical vists to LHR & DXB. I see his 747 quite often in DXB

Considering time difference and flight time from Brunei, the arrival at
HND will be mid-afternoon or later. The highest probable aircraft will be the 744.

For an official state visit, highly likely that V8-ALI would be used.

I wouldn't be so sure. On his last official visit to Australia, he used the 762 V8-MHB. I'm betting on the 342 although no one can know for sure.
