Interesting that the story, further down in the text, talks about another year before a C-series decision is made. I would think this potential deal makes a "go" decision more likely, and sooner than that.

LE BOURGET, FRANCE -- Bombardier Inc. took a big step towards building its first big passenger jet, known as the C-Series, with the launch of a partnership yesterday with China Aviation Industry Corp., one of the Chinese government's two main commercial aviation businesses.

I was happy to see some progress on this finally. I've been saying for a while that BBD needs to defecate or vacate the lavatory where the C-Series is concerned. Hopefully, this will bring a launch announcement by the end of the year.

Oops. I thought I'd searched enough, but obviously not. Not a lot of interest in this, although its big news in the Canadian papers.
