Any New Liveries For 787?

Hey Guys,

I was wondering if any airlines were planning on launching a new livery when the 787 comes online next year? Or even any celebratory schemes? I understand that on here too many people believe liveries should be changed as frequently as underwear. Personally, I would love to see the classic liveries such as NZ, SQ, NH, JAL, QF and FI remain, but I was just curious to know if any of the carriers that have ordered it thus far have indicated they would change their liveries upon receipt of their 787s?

I had intended on including the A380 on this, but apparently there is already a thread going on that.

Thanks Guys!

It wouldn't surprise me if some airlines did, particularly NH. As nice a livery as that is, it is 25 years old (introduced, significantly enough, with the 767) and JL has already gone through two livery changes in that time.

There is such a significant number of 787 operators now that I'm sure one or two others will choose the service entry of the 787 as the time to launch a new corporate identity.

What might be cool is if NW launches one of their 787's with the classic NW colors. That might look pretty sweet.

Quoting JetBlueGuy2006 (Reply 2):
the classic NW colors.

Which classic colors?
Bowling shoe?
Pre-republic merger
1950s?

NW will introduce their 787s in the current livery. The difference will be inside.

NH will probably NOT change livery. It is doing well for them. Sometimes change can hurt the product.

Yes...I am not a KIX fan. Let's Japanese Aviation!

NZ is supposed to have a new livery out this year .. But will be before the 787 ..So i doubt another new livery will be developed for the 787
