Although four of the most likely suspects have fairly new VVIP 744s, I wouldn't put it past them ordering the "Flying Palace" just to have the ultimate bragging right.

This question pops in my mind, where could you go with a private A380, ? I mean the handling can only be done at a limited number of airports ( 30-40?).
anyhow, I hope it's Saad Co. , then it will have one very nice paint

I seriously doubt it is the Saudi Royal Fleet. They've only recently pinched a 744 from SV to convert into VIP configuration. It will become the new HM1 .

I may have blinked during the Airbus order orgy at Paris, but I haven't seen any official confirmation that a firm order for 1 A380VIP has been placed.

Quoting B777A340Fan (Reply 21): On a side note.... why don't all the members of A.net pitch in couple hundred bucks and we can all call ourselves owners of an A380??? Now, who's in?
It's not much of a private jet if you have to share it. Yes I'm greedy.

Vijay Mallya from Kingfisher brewery. It has been a TV report in France about 1-2 years ago showing this gentleman saying to John Leahy while on a sales blitz in India he wanted one A380 for private use. He was serious and not kidding.
25 JFK787NYC: No Way its Roman Abramovich. Roman Abramovich is a rich man and everything but, he cannot fit that plane in most of the runways he uses. He is not the
26 Sabenaboy: I would not be amazed if the Sultan of Brunei turned out to be the customer.
27 FrancoBlanco: More important, can it fly into INN since he keeps visting us every few weeks? Now that would be a treat...
28 WestJetYQQ: Let's just hope to god it's not the new Air Force 1! Now Let's REALLY hope that it's not the new AF1 Cheers Carson
29 EI321: And its the only plane big enough to hold the contracts for the planes he has shifted this week. has he even recieved his ACJ yet?
30 YOWza: My hunch is Qatar Amiri Flight. We'll see. YOWza
31 JFK787NYC: Wow, That would really be funny if it were Air Force 1 I do not see why not. It is big enough for anything lol
35 Scbriml: The A380 uses less runway than a 744, but some taxiway turns might present some challenges. The pavement loading of the A380 is less, I believe, than
36 Viscount724: But they can't necessarily maneuver on taxiways or ramps which is why quite a few airports to be served by the A380 have been spending a lot of money
37 Stylo777: hopefully the most important airports all over the world widen their taxiways until this vip 380 will be delivered. i don't think that our rich friend
38 CV580Freak: Well if 'he' can't use his A380 he'll just have to slum it and use his B747-400 instead
39 BoeingForEver: Its Alwaleed Bin-Talals order..owner of Kingdom Holdings..hes going to replace his 747-400 with this A380
40 YOWza: Fact or your 2c? It wouldn't surpise me if this were true...
41 DEVILFISH: If that's accurate, then the unidentified A380 completion that LT is bidding hard for and confident of winning must be for him ..... http://www.fligh
46 Jenkingeorge: Im in!! for sure!! I will put, umm, how does £10 sound towards it, then i want it to be based at my local airport and 50% of the use! But personally
47 Viscount724: Sorry, you're both wrong. Russia is in both Europe and Asia. The dividing line between the European and Asian parts of Russia is the Ural Mountains.
