Oceanair decides to operate from Paraguay at international level

The aerial company OceanAir "lands" in Paraguay to be investments and to project from our country to all the region, according to data provided by REDIEX, that contacted it and accompanied during the decision making. The company/signature belongs to the Synergy group, presided over by Germa'n Efromovich, one of the most representative Brazilian industralists, propietary of different companies in Latin America in the sectors power, aeronautical infrastructure and, among them Avianca, the Colombian air line in where the group already has invested in its fleet of airplanes about 10,000 million dollars, according to the official data. OceanAir covers internal services in Brazil, but lately it is looking for to extend his operations with regional flights from Paraguay. Initially it would cover flights to Brazil and other countries with the region, according to the Network. The company has intentions to operate like a Paraguayan company and the investment considered in machinery that would operate in our country would surpass the 40 million dollars in the first stages of the business. On the other hand, it is going to generate between 100 and 150 positions of use between crew, personnel of airport, mechanics and administrative personnel, in a considered period of two years. The interest is to initially operate with Fo airships ker-100, but it will be incorporating ships of the manufacturers Airbus and Boeing, taking advantage of the new purchases that the Synergy Group has ordered and that surpass the 3,000 million dollars. Paraguay today does not have flights to Europe and other destinies, which also could constitute an opportunity of businesses for international airlines that possibly can see Paraguay like a potential, by their strategic geographic position and low operative costs.

I heard it a few days ago, but I was under the impression they wanted to transfer some Fokker 100s to a new subsidiary there.
