I see right now that SX is running 3 jets right now...as they have three in the air on what look to be revenue runs.

Any one know if the 4th jet is around as a spare and/or what it does/will look like?

There was one that was going to be painted in a mostly white scheme so they could add a company's logo if they found a "sponsor" for that plane...is that the one?

SX has 4 jets. If you look on Flight Aware around 07:15 you'll see 4 airplanes in the air. After the RIC aircraft comes back to CMH, it sits for quite awhile until the later PSM flight.

I know they have at least five. On June 20 I flew RIC-CMH on N551SX. When I returned on the 21st, I had N522VA. There were three other planes at the gate in CMH besides mine, and none of them was N551SX. So they must have at least five.

Next month, Skybus will start flying nonstop from CMH to:

San Diego, CA
Westover, MA (Hartford/Springfield)
St. Augustine, FL (Jacksonville/Daytona Beach)

I guess they will have at least 7 or more planes.

Skybus added Greensboro, NC, Ft. Lauderdale, FL, and Oakland, CA - not sure when they will start flying to these 3 new cities. Didn't check skybus.com this morning.

Are any of them their own craft - or still leases from Virgin America? [Referring to cabin configuration]

wow, I guess Skybus is doing good lately. I would like to know what is their load factors to cities they currently service to. I guess many people would rather go to some place with afford prices that they can go there faster. I am surprised that Skybus not offer the connections. I am sure many passengers would prefer to have connection thru CMH rather than pay two tickets.

They have four aircrafts at the moment - two leased from Virgin America (N521VA, N522VA) and two former Skyservice A319s (N551SX, N552SX).

The first of 65 own A319 (N553SX) is now in full colors in Hamburg (XFW).

Nice shot Viasa...any idea how far away from delivery that frame is?

I'm a bit suprised they're doing the full Skybus livery. I wonder if they'll have to do a repaint if they get another advertiser for that plane.

No, that plane stays that scheme. Not every aircraft is painted to have advertisements. As far as I know, they haven't even gotten anyone to advertise on the other blank planes they have right now.
