Howdy all,
Just got done uploading some photos of the newest airframe to adorn the United Express new color scheme. I know a lot of people here have been wondering if it was ever going to be painted in the livery, and I actually gave up on hoping it was based on numerous reports from SkyWest that it never would happen, both due to cost and weight....I guess we can throw those words in the trash bin!
Be looking for the photos to come through the queue...should be priority!

Hello everyone!
Today I had the extreme pleasure of catching the a/c in Modesto! Hopefully OO will come around and incorporate the new scheme on all the EMB's. It really looks sharp!

Oh, I like it!
I think they look amazing. They look pretty much brand new! It's amazing how much a paint job can change an aircraft:

I do believe the non-painting of the engines was pretty much due to the fact that these planes as is have some nasty CG issues at times, and this paint even weighs more than the old color UA does. Having the engines painted would have just added to the toll. Regardless, it really doesn't detract from the livery all that much!

I'm a big fan of the new UA livery, but something just doesn't look right about this plane! I really don't like the way the logo is fitting onto the tail (or not fitting, for that matter)

I thought they weren't going to repaint any in the new colors at all... In fact, I thought they were beginning to unpaint the UA colors on the OO planes so they could be more interchangeable with DL ops...
At any rate, nice to see. Hopefully next time I'm at SAN, I'll see it (or any future painted ones).

I like it!!! Looks far better on this bird than the 744..grin. Glad they did not paint the engines....stands out all the better....window cheatline works well. I, along with everyone else, had heard the rumors of no painting...going generic for interchange...dropping the 120's out of UA....etc etc....glad to see this happen.

Wow! Very nice.
I agree the tail looks a bit awkward, but the same can be said for the ERJs as well. Actually, it looks very good on the EMB ... there's just so much blue on the leading tail brace it can appear off-balance.
I'm also disappointed the engines weren't painted, for some reason it just doesn't fit the "crispness" of the new livery ... but it's understandable not only for weight purposes, but also commonality with the fleet in the event of cowl swaps, etc.
The case is likely the same for the dark radome ... the various radomes on the other regional operators is a key example of why OO kept the dark nose.
That said, I'm very impressed. Well done! OO should paint one in the new DL livery also, just for fun.
I'd take the awe of understanding over the awe of ignorance any day.

Too bad ACA doesnt fly for them anymore. The J-41s would look great hell even the J-32's also. Wonder when we'll see the B1900D's get painted.

I was surprised too when she rolled up Charlie 8 at LAX last week. N293SW came out of MX hanger late last week and has been flying with the new color ever since. It look very sharp and very cool. I think OO really surprised everyone just in time for their 35th Birthday. It was longed rumor that all EMB's will be painted in OO color but I guess not in this case. Hopefully we can see more new scheme on OO EMB's.

Wow, that looks Great! I hope they paint a lot more in the new colors. Are there any plans to paint even a single one in the new DL colors?

N293SW will be staying up north for today. Started out RON in SBA and will end up in MOD this evening.
For all you spotter this puppy will be in and out of SBA, SJC, SFO, MFR, SBP, and MOD
So will all of the current UAX (grey) and Skywest liveries be repainted to the new UA colors?
