The engines look like CFM-56's, so it would have to be an A340-300 or A340-200.

I'd say LH B747-200 and a river near Frankfurt.

Having gone to google earth the town on the right side of the river is Nackenheim and if you change the viewing angle you can get a pretty good approximation to the linked picture.
