BA today announced on the staff intranet that from March 30, 2008 all texan flights currently operated from LGW will move to LHR.

LHR - DFW will be daily.

LHR - IAH will be twice daily.

All flights on 777 aircraft.

The LHR - DTW - IAH routing will be discontinued Mar 30.

...I'm not surprised about that...BA will do quite well on LHR-IAH...

LHR - IAH will be twice daily.

...I expect some competition between BA, EK (provide connection to other locations) and CO....

LHR - DFW will be daily.

....I also expect to see AA switch and/or add one of their DFW-LGW flights to DFW-LHR..its just a matter of time..

...of note...there is the possibility of 'Open Skies" being rescinded if the "2nd half" of the agreement doesn't go through...

Bummer... their 747s looked so respectable taxiing out at IAH.
