Quoting A380fo (Thread starter): Do you think DL will paint the new livery on any of the Brasilias? OR how about on the Big Sky planes? Any other DL Connection partners???

Quoting FlyDeltaJets87 (Reply 1): They have it two (I think) of their ERJ's. Don't know about any of the CRJ's or other birds.
Following the DL Livery list on another thread, both ExpressJet and Freedom have several ERJs in the new livery. Comair also has at least a couple CRJs in the new livery.
The EMB-120s are operated by SkyWest (I believe ASA's are all gone), and are supposedly due to be retired in a couple years. They had been taking any aircraft needing paint and putting them into the standard SkyWest bare metal livery, so they could operate freely on both DL and UA runs. However, we've recently seen one painted in the new UA colors, so who knows if they'll do any in DL colors or not.
ASA has yet to paint any of their CRJs or ATRs.
Chautauqua has not yet painted any of their ERJs.
Shuttle America has not yet painted any of their E170s. Makes sense since they're almost all brand-new.
Freedom has not painted their Dash-8s, but I believe they're being phased out from the DL ops anyway in favor of the ERJs. Someone can confirm or correct that.
Big Sky, if they're going to be a Delta Connection operation, will probably be required to paint their aircraft accordingly, but time will tell if we see a Beech with a widget on it or not.
I'd take the awe of understanding over the awe of ignorance any day.

Freedom Dash 8s will be withdrawn around mid-August.

From what I've seen on other threads, Big Sky will paint their Beechs at the BOS (and if a CVG EAS operation comes to fruition) in full Delta Connection colours.

The beeches are going to look pretty funny in the new livery - ERJ is the smallest it looks normal on

Yes the Freedom DASH-8's are going to be removed from the DL system in favor of the ERJ-145. I believe the DASH-8's are either going to go to the UA system in DEN or possibly be parked as some of them have very high cycles on them.

I think the new livery would look great on the Crj-900!! I think it would look best on the E190 if they ever order that plane.

I really can't wait to see it on an ATR. That would look pretty classy so long as you wait until the tailstand is in place and the Captain has turned of the fasten seatbelts sign.
Airline photography. Whether they're fully clothed, butt naked, having issues or confused I'm taking pictures!!

Yep, Big Sky is already flying as DL Connection in BOS, but just with their existing livery. Soon, however, the new aircraft coming online will get the new DL colours. It will look great on the 1900D

Big Sky has already been granted several CVG runs, and they will indeed be operated as DL Connection

A quick and dirty photoshop job of what the 1900 should look like in the new DL colors:
Not perfect, but should be a good idea.

It actually looks better than I thought it would, and in my opinion it actually looks pretty good! I'll be at Comair's 30th anniversary ceremony on July 14, and they're rolling out their special anniversary livery there. Anyone planning on going? I'm definitely going to have to post some pictures of that one.

Which could mean the end of GQ in Montana where we started so many years ago. Wonder if this is why Denney up and left?
Nice job. I do wonder if maybe they'll stretch the widget and blue background down onto the fuselage since there is so little of it under the tail. I think the winglets may also be blue like they are now...

I doubt it. Look at how much the widget is cropped off on the ERJ and CRJ. It'd be inconsistent if they did that on the Beech.
However, I imagine the winglets would get painted to match the ERJs. That's just something I neglected to do on my photoshop job.

I saw a Delta CRJ in RDU the other day in the new colors.
I can't remember if it was a 200 or 700 but looked pretty sharp I have to say.

There are actually 18 XJ ERJ-145s operating for DL, albeit not all or them are XRs, some are LRs, but all 18 are in the new colors.

Yes, search for aircraft registration N816CA, there's a couple pics on airliners.net
