Anchorage-tokyo(and The Reverse) Route....

anyone know when this route is used(on passenger flights) and by who? I think northwest did it earlier this year but i think just for the summer. i tried looking it up on the web but couldnt find any flights even during the summer. anyone know if there will be any this summer(even if its to another city in japan). thanks.

I believe JAL operates this route. It goes JFK-ANC-NRT and NRT-ANC-JFK.

The only suitable connection in Summer 2001 so far
is ANC/SEL/TYO on Korean 747-400.I dont think
JAL are going via ANC at all now

Japanese carriers don't stop at ANC at all. If you want ride this route and AS doesn't operate Japanese routes, only available way will be via Seoul. ANC-SEL 10 weekly, and SEL-ANC 2 flights, only by KAL.
