I thought it was from Jet Airways, but part of their orange logo is also on the rudder -> edit: I think it's from Jet Airways, don't they paint the logo on top of the blue paint?

Well 9V-SWK is actually in full colors, so it cannot be her. So it probably is one of Jet's.
And I believe the new 744F on the flight-line as well as the one in the factory are both for Jade Cargo.

Quoting A388 (Reply 2): My guess would be Jet Airways...

Quoting Brendows (Reply 9): This should be a TNT bird, leased from Guggenheim (and it might be operated in the colors of Emirates Sky Cargo...)
Both have white rudders, so TNT would be an option. Neither has the EK colors (which their 77Ws do), so I am guessing if they do go to EK, they will use decals?
Anyway, I'll keep an eye on the flight line and paint-shop to see what colors they all end up sporting.

I don't think its 9W - there is no orangey-yellow bits on the rudder. Unless, this hasn't been added yet.
if you look at the Air Canada rudders before the rest of the aircraft is painted, they do not feature any pattern or part of the maple leaf. I suspect the Jet Airways rudder is the same and will acquire the decals when the rest of the aircraft is done. Thats my feeling anyway!

Sounds good to me. AC's latest 77W was in front of the paint shop this morning along with the "mystery" 77W and the blue does look exactly like Jet's, so I am confident it is her.
I don't know if this means Dreamliner 01 will be leaving the 777 paint shop tonight or if they're just getting the two 77Ws ready to send to PDX for their paint job.

A little correction of what I wrote. This 747F (and one more IIRC) will be operated by TNT for Emirates SkyCargo, but I don't know whether that means that it will be painted in EKs colors or not...

If it is dark blue vs black, could it be for Delta with the reds to be added later? Or would that affect the balance?

It's a 77W, not a 77L, so while it could be based on color, it's not based on model.

Thanks......the more that I look at it, it seems more black than blue afterall.

Likely Jet as most say. Someone from Jet Airways (maybe Goyal) had commented that with the new decal technology they were able to give the Jet logo a new "3-D" look so the tail logo would be a decal that could be added later.
25 Corsair1107: My first guess was Singapore but it could certainly be Jet Airways. Looked almost like a McDonnell-Douglas nose to me...
26 A388: 3-D would be very nice to see on an aircraft's tail! Can this be the next new trend in aviation? 3-D logos? It does sound very nice in my opinion. Yo
27 Cricket: So it is VT-JEC, the first of the 77W's to be based in DEL for the DEL-BRU-YYZ service.
32 Stitch: She is still in front of the paint hangar. It appears that a number of planes have left PAE to be painted (the flight-line looked mighty light today)
