That is one nice looking bird. I'm glad that AI have opted to convert those A310's into freighters.  Smile

Good to see the 310's still around  Smile

The livery would look better if they didn't have those cheatlines in my opinion

I like it, don't like the white at the back of the plane though should have had that red!  Smile

Hey,
anyone notice, that the word "Cargo" on the body reads like "carco" on first glance, because the c and the g look very similar?

Simply beautiful. Where was it converted? Dresden?

Most likely, since most (if not all) A300/A310 cargo conversions are carried out by EADS in DRS. BTW: One thing that struck my eye is that they painted the radome (or at least a small part of it) black. With that colourscheme somehow unfitting.

I agree with you guys but then perhaps it would have looked quite like Virgin Atlantic's new livery.

Looks good! I think the missing palace windows takes a bit of the traditional majestic AI look away from the cargo scheme, but its still a pretty nice, original scheme.

Yes all are currently performed in Dresden. This will change with FSI performing A300-600 conversions on China Southern aircraft in GAMECO (Guangzhou). One is already being converted.

But then there surely would have been complaints that they are copying VS, eh?

I quite like it. I agree that the tail section should be red, but I'll live.

Air India needed a classy scheme not this, Spicejet livery would be more suited to AI with Gold Chakra logo partially cut off like UA's logo on the tail.

It looks like a cheap holiday charter airline.

It looks like the sunburst idea from the Phillopine airlines tail and the cheatline looks like a re-jig of the old BA landor speedwing line.

It gets my thumbs down.

Looking good. The more centered titles on ths freighter and the cheatline sure help make it look decent.. More interesting than the new/now old blandness we saw on that new 777.

Did Lila design this thing? The tail logo reminds me of the Lila logo. I'm not sold on that overused and IMO not too aesthetically pleasing style where the color goes from only the tip of rear fuselage to tail. But again it's a bit more colorful and the design makes more sense than the 777 where the centaur was cut off.

Too bad Indian will have to lose their more professional looking new image, maybe AI should adopt this literaly and turn the orange intp red and blue into gold add gold cabin windows.

WOW, what a great looking plane.
I like that the belly is red... it makes it look less like a football, as the A310 is wont to do!

Certainly. That new Indian livery was a lot more tropical looking. Too bad it ain't gonna last long. The good liveries rarely last long lol why?
