As the year is coming to an end, I was curious to see what kind of "actual" flight mileage as PAX some of you did in the last 12 months.
My CDN+/Aeroplan account currently has 52,791 qualifying miles from Jan.1 to present.....not counting my next trip to Rio on Dec. 28 which will add another 11,000 to that total.
So for the year I'll end up with about 63,000 total miles from flying.

US: about 35k
AA: about 12k
Should end the year @75k combined, aproximately.
This has not been a good year for me, travel wise. But I plan to do better next century.

Hmmm, lets see, this year -
USAirways - approx 40,000
Delta - approx 20,000
AA - approx 15,000
Continental - only 5,000
United - approx 13,500
NW - approx. 10,000
AirTran - I don't collect from them but have flown about 1500 miles with them this year
Midway - same as AirTran but only about 1,000 miles
Midwest Express - same as AirTran & Midway but only 500 miles.
My NW & United miles are being donated to charity this holiday season, as I no longer fly them (my employer's edict, not mine!). Haven't flown Southwest yet, but they are on our "approved" carrier list, so I believe I'll be collecting from them next year.

I just got back from Columbus, Ohio today, which put me at 51,000 actual United miles flown (46,000 of that has been since September). I also flew 7,600 miles on American; 5,200 on Delta, and about 1,500 on Continental.
Obviously I'm concentrating most of my flying on United. Since I have over 200K in the United bank, I'm hoping their 100% year-end Premier Executive bonus on all miles flown since May 2000 will put me over the top for 2 first class tickets to Australia (requires 240K miles).

I have 18,255 on Alaska, with 6 flight segments. My actual flight miles are only 3,743, but those bonus miles really add up. Also I still have two hotel stays not added in, and I earned 150 on an Amtrak trip...but I can let that go.
I will have 9,000 on American with 9 flight segments. My flight mileage there is only 2772, as the flight to LA is only 308 miles from SJC. But, I get the 500 minimum, plus the online booking bonus.
I flew on HP to Phoenix, but I don't belong to FlightFund (aka FlightFraud, FrightFund). And, no I don't have anything in particular against HP...the flights were fine.

UA: 4000 miles (4000 FF miles total)
US: about 15,000 miles including trip next week(40,000 FF miles total)
It was sort of slow this year, as I didnt fly further west then DEN, and after that YYZ (mostly PHL-FLL-PHL)
Next year I have two trips to FLL planned (number to rise) and a trip to CNS (big mileage)!

I just hit 85,000 on United/Star Alliance....mostly United. I'll hit 90K by year's end. Because United lowered its 100K level to 84,000 due to its summer labor problems and flight cancellations, this means I'll be 100K for three years in a row. I getting tired of so much flying and am looking forward to changing jobs so that I can live in just one city. I want to be coastal, not bicoastal.

About 75.000 on Star Alliance (mostly Lufthansa, Thai, Tyrolean). LH-Miles & More program accepts almost all tickets - even low-cost tickets from other Star-Alliance members.

Hi
At the end of 2000 I have earned 30 000 Eurobonus points on SAS, Singapore Airlines, Air New Zealand and Qantas.
I'm not concerned about FF membership levels, as I spend most of the time at airports wandering around anyway... but the points sure come in handy for a free trip or two!

Well my mileage pales in comparison with most of you folks, but for a college student its a decent accumulation over the past 18 months or so. I've got about 17,000 CP/AC miles. I've got an FF account with Capital City Air, but I think they count trips, not miles.
