I was reading the Wikipedia article on Faucett Peru, which listed the Airbus A300 as having been a part of their fleet. I can only remember having seen Faucett Lockheed L-1011s, but never A300s. I did a quick search of the database, and lo and behold, a Peruvian-registered A300!

With the exception of the APA International titles and logo, OB-1611 and OB-1631 were decked out in full Faucett Peru colors. As far as I can tell, Faucett leased these two A300s to APA, who simply painted over the Faucett titles and logos, similar to what they did a few years earlier when leasing L-1011s.

However, I can't seem to find any pictures of these aircraft with Faucett titles and logos. Did they ever enter service with Faucett? Did they at least wear Faucett titles and logos at one point? I can't seem to find any pictures of these birds in the colors of their original operator.

I also only remember Faucett L-1011's, DC-8 and 727's. APA was APA from the Dominican Republic. At one point the L-10s were operated with Faucett/AeroPeru colors but I never recall the Faucett AB3's in MIA or LIM.

During 1995 and 1996, four A300B4-203s were leased from various leasing companies by Faucett and immediately sub-leased to APA International for the whole length of the leasing contract, except for OB-1596. Three were repossessed by the leasing companies March 29th, 1996. Hopefully this helps.
