JQ has recorded a 33% increase in passenger carried for the first 11 months of 2006/07 financial year compared to FY 2005/06.
QANTAS Airways carried 2.22 million more passengers in the 11 months to the end of May than in the corresponding period last year.
The airline issued figures yesterday showing Qantas-owned operations carried 33.48 million passengers in the latest period compared with 31.26 million in the corresponding period, a lift of 7.1 per cent.
The star performer in the airline's stable was Jetstar, which flew 6.996 million passengers, compared with 5.26 million in 2005-06, a 33 per cent increase.

Not at all surprised... JQ have more A320s coming, as well as 15 787s from August next year - oh, and one more A332 to make 6.
I'm really looking forward to seeing where they start flying once the 787s are in service. I am betting on YVR, as well as ATH and probably FCO. Their Star Class fares are a bargain too! Can't wait!
I do quite enjoy a spot of flying - more so when it's not in Economy!
