"Hole" In CRJ Wing

I don't know how to post pics yet...never have been able to get the hang of that....   ... but here's the url for the pic:

what is the see through 'hole' as seen on the right wing? I know it's not 'painted' on, as I have seen it on every other CRJ...what is it, and why is it there?

I hate to tell you this but that is No-Skid paint for the overwing emergency exit. Keeps passengers from falling on slick aluminum.

Ok, I am going to back up a little bit, But it is a no slip surface.

It either that 2 inch wide no-slip tape or no slip paint that has been painted in 2 inch wide strips. I tend to think it is the paint rather then the tape, I am not sure you would want the tape to come loose and go into the engine. Either way what looks like wing spars is acutually the aluminum surface of the wing showing between the painted or taped surfaces. Makes the optical illusion of the "Ribs" showing.
