Hello, My friend is going to BTV from TUS tomorrow and he wanted to know if there was anyway that he could find out the aircraft (Reg. Number) that he will be on. Its flight 912 from TUS to ATL. Any Delta employees that could help me find that out?

I'll try to find out for you today when I get to work later in the afternoon. It's tomorrow, so the ship numbers should be assigned by now.

Best.

Well, the TUS-ATL portion will be a 757 (24F/159Y) ship # 0642.

I do not know if this is a SONG aircraft or what other amenities it might have. It probably won't have much in the way of IFE (beyond a movie probably).

The ATL-BTV leg will be a CRJ (no ship number assigned).

Hope this helps.

If it's 24F, it's a regular mainline 757; not a Song one. Plane will have overhead monitors showing a movie, plus about 8 channels of audio. You'll get a snack pack for the first service (don't know what's in it; haven't been on a Delta transcon in coach for a couple of years now) and snack basket later on if you're in coach; first class will most likely get a form of chicken (in my 10 Delta transcons over the past year in First, I've had chicken 10 times) and then the snack basket later on.

ATL-BTV is a 50 seat CRJ; pretty long flight for a CRJ (not really the most comfortable plane on a long flight like that); I've heard the bulkheads are the best bet on these planes. No IFE and you'll get the snack basket on this flight.
