Hi again 757 fans............Anybody have any interesting anecdotes regarding your experiences with the 757, i.e. praise/criticism from passengers, pilots, or flight attendants?

Continental's new 752s are wonderful... I flew one this summer and it was the most comfortable 757 I've been in.

It seemed very spacious, mostly because the monitors were flip-down from the overhead bins, not in the aisles.

The seats were slimline seats and very comfortable. The interior seemed to be 777-style, but I can't say for sure if it was or not.

All in all, it was a great ride. Definitely recommend one!

Yep. How 'bout pax yelping excitedly when we took off from SNA to ORD last year on that required steep and fast climbout from SNA.

I wanted to yelp too as that G-force punched me in the stomach. ...But I was too kool to do anything like that.

...Only on a '57.

For me being on a 757 is a religious experience. Other planes are good transportation, the 757 is a kick in the pants. Other planes get you from one place to another, the 757 gets you there fast even in a head wind. Other planes are nice, the 757 is cool.

Love those 757's.

I was on one yesterday. I took a joyride from SFO to SNA and back, just for the take off that so many of you people have mentioned. Please read my trip report.

I usually have some form of severe hatred twoards the 757. It seems to "catch the bumps" very well. I've bounced around for 6 hours in N527UA in heavy turbuluence. I got airsick.

I've always thought that they are cramped, and kinda loud. The loudness is not so much from the engines, but the air moving through the cabin.

AA's "more room in coach" makes a great plane even better when you have to ride in the "main cabin". Just a wonderful piece of engineering and design. So glkad that the newest orders mean that 20 yrs from now we can still catch the thrill of t/o on a '57!

Just reminds me a bit of the kick in the ass 707's had lightly loaded. Used to take AA's 707 CLE-BDL over a UA 737 just for the ride! God bless the 757!
