The threads on US Airways over at US Aviation are quite eye-opening. It'll be interesting to say the least what the future brings for them.

Before any conclusions can be drawn, it'd be important to know if the shares were sold on the open market, or to another institutional investor. Selling out of a position isn't always a bad thing--the shares don't just go into the void, there's a buyer on the other side. Did Fidelity make an overall profit on their investment? An overall loss? We don't know.

From what I'm hearing, Fidelity is pulling from MOST of thir airline/aerospace investments.
