KLM 737-700 Delivery Dates?

Just wondering if we know what delivery dates KLM has for the 737-700 order it placed at Paris ?

Non-ER as far as I know. And they are ordered to replace the current B733s.

The first 3 of the order will be delivered Summer 2008 these 3 were due to be 737-800 but the orders were converted to 737-700s.

Nope, they will replace some 733s and/or increase some European operations. The rumor is that some flights now operated with the F70s will revert to ""mainline"" service when the 73Gs are delivered.

That route and operation is an a.net fantasy. There was some talk that KL was considering ordering 737-700ERs/BBJs to operate all biz class service out of AMS on some routes to the US (Privatair is operating an AMS-IAH service for KL) but there has been no news in recent months.

Correct.....many are still trying to figure out exactly why KL downsized the 737NGs on order from 738s to 73Gs, especially for shorter haul European operations; the operating economics of the 738 seem to be prefered by most ""traditional"" (meaning non-LCC) airlines.
